Warranty
- OMS Inc. at its sole discretion will repair or replace Ocean Management Scuba Cylinders, proved to have a manufacturing defect, with a service and handling fee of $30.00 per cylinder for a period of up to 1 year from the date of manufacture.
- This warranty specifically excludes all warranty claims resulting from
abuse, misuse, and neglect including but not limited to internal corrosion,
impact and abrasion damage, corrosion determined to be caused by failure to
remove the boot and/or lack of proper and immediate maintenance/repair and
variations in paint color.
- This warranty covers only the original retail purchaser and does not
cover commercial or rental use, nor does it cover cylinders purchased from
other than an authorized OMS dealer.
- To make a claim under this warranty the original owner must submit a
legible copy of the original purchase invoice or receipt and present the
cylinders to the OMS authorized dealer. No warranty will be considered
without a valid proof of purchase.
- Repairs made under this warranty will not extend the warranty period.
- Claims made for damage after diving accidents, are excluded from coverage
under this warranty.
- OMS Inc. has no obligation to honor any extension of this warranty.
CARE
- Always remove the boot after every dive
- Always wash your cylinder with fresh water and mild soap, or Corrostop
after every dive
- Always store your cylinder without a boot and in a dry area
- Never drag your cylinders
- Frequently Inspect your cylinder, in the band, boot and valve area for
any signs of corrosion.
- Any signs of corrosion, impact or otherwise must be repaired immediately.
Failure to make immediate repairs to corrosion is consider neglect.
